Cobourg ontario's feel good town | one hour east of Toronto
Festivals in cobourg bring visitors to join the party, and experience the culture and ambiance of our friendly, small-town life. The setting on Lake Ontario is ideal for all kinds of waterfront activities, including beach volleyball competition and the multi-sport triathlon in the summer, the Dragon boat Festival in September, and the popular Waterfront Festival over the Canada Day weekend. Huge tents line the harbourfront for artisans, food, beer and entertainment. Midway rides and games stretch out on the pier. A traditional Canada Day parade with marching bands, clowns and fire trucks is capped off with spectacular fireworks over the harbour, where people gather on the beach with blankets and lawn chairs to take in the show.
