THE BASICS HERE'S THE SKINNY
The Youth Spotlight Series is part of Cobourg Music Experience (CME) a multi-stage musical campaign kicking off all over Cobourg on the long weekend in May (May 19 – 21, 2012).
The experience brings together some of the area’s best performers and showcases many different musical genres. HERE'S WHERE YOU COME IN! There's room for ONE youth band in the line up! IT COULD BE YOURS! THE DEAL HERE'S WHAT'S UP FOR GRABS
If chosen, your band will WIN: A) A GIG at a ticketed event at the Market building on Saturday May 19, 2012, B) TONS of FREE promo around town, 3) A GIG at the bandshell during the Cobourg Summer Music in the Park AND ...

THE FINE PRINT
HERE ARE THE RULES
ONE
You may enter the contest as either a rockin’ solo artist or face melting ensemble.
You MAY NOT enter as both - no double dipping!
TWO
ALL participants must be between the ages of 13 and 19. Dad may be a killer drummer but rules are rules!
THREE
ALL participants must be secondary school students in Northumberland County.
FOUR
Bands/Artists must prepare a 4 song set. We’re looking for 2 Covers and 2 Originals.
FIVE
All acts must pay a modest $15.00 entry fee. (Non Refundable)
